What Can I Expect During An Arm Lift?
Arm lift surgery is performed at our Draper, UT facility and may be combined with other procedures, like a mommy makeover, tummy tuck, or thigh lift (based on your goals and health). At Maglic Plastic Surgery, we use an advanced arm lift technique known as avulsion brachioplasty, which combines VASER® ultrasound-assisted liposuction with skin excision to create a more contoured appearance with little to no scarring. Once you're sedated, Dr. Maglic will inject a special saline solution into the treatment area before inserting the VASER® liposuction probes, which will break down unwanted fat using ultrasound energy. After removing the fat, he will carefully remove any excess skin from the elbow up to the armpit. Depending on your goals and the amount of loose skin on your arms, we may also perform nonsurgical skin tightening using the Renuvion® system, which utilizes radiofrequency (RF) energy to firm up the skin while boosting collagen production for long-term tightening effects.

I am a fairly new Patient of Dr. Dino Maglic, with that being said…. I had my 1st initial consultation appointment in January 2025. after I left his office I knew immediately he was going to be the surgeon I used for my Tummy Tuck. I had a Breast reduction 4-5 years ago by a different Dr at Riverton Hospital. Not that I’m not pleased with my results but not enough that same Dr for my tummy tuck. When I seen Dr. Dino’s profiles and his fun and outgoing personality I knew I needed to check out his practice, and I have never been more pleased than I was when I walked in and out of their practice! I am an almost 52 years ago old women that has had multiple c-sections, 4 pregnancies and a hysterectomy. I also struggled with my weight going up and down my entire life. So a few years ago I was diagnosed type2 pre diabetic and had to be medicated to bring my A1C levels to a much lowered level, as a result I have lose 70 pounds in 2 years and I’m only 5’4”. I have a bad lower back so the extra weight I was carrying and extra skin was really weighing on my physical and emotional state! I decided after leaving Dr Maglics office back in January 2025 that I was going to do this surgery no matter how much it costs or how bad and painful it was going to be, I was jumping in with both feet!! His office was amazing to work with on scheduling all the appointments very informative if I had any concerns or whatever I may have needed they all guided me along the way, it was awesome! And I am NOW 1 week POST Surgery and I’m soooo freaking excited to see the end results when all the swelling subsides and all the pain is gone! But as far as pain, I personally did NOT think it was as bad as what everyone had prepared me for, I’m not saying their isn’t pain involved because I would be lying but it is bearable pain! I also at my pre surgery appointment was so excited about my tummy tuck that I decided to add my arm lift 2 weeks before surgery and Dr. Maglic and his team were so accommodating to my wants and needs and got me all fixed up! I told him today at my 1 week post surgery appointment that I went into surgery as Brandy and I came out as BARBIE!! Haha 🤣 but if your looking for a great surgeon Dr Maglic is the most Bad Ass surgeon I have EVER come across! His social media is on point and his artistic ability to help us all be whom we are searching to be is also on point! I seriously recommend this Dr to the highest degree. I will post before and after pictures when that time comes! As of right now the after pics aren’t ready yet!!!
