Dino Maglić, M.D.

Dr. Dino Maglić is a board-certified plastic surgeon with an extensive educational background and years of hands-on clinical experience in both cosmetic and reconstructive plastic surgery. As a nationally award-winning artist, he approaches plastic surgery with a sense of flair and craftsmanship, tailoring his approach to ensure each patient can enjoy the more confident, self-assured look they deserve.

Dr. Maglić is driven by the belief that plastic surgery is about self-empowerment, confidence, and embracing your true potential. His background in art has given him a unique understanding of aesthetics, symmetry, and harmony. He takes pride in guiding patients through each step of their treatment, ensuring that their desires, concerns, and safety receive the utmost care and attention.

Education and Training

A native of Bosnia, Dr. Maglić immigrated to the United States at the age of 11. He attended East Carolina University in North Carolina, graduating summa cum laude with a double major in chemistry and biochemistry. He continued his medical studies at East Carolina University’s Brody School of Medicine, graduating with Alpha Omega Alpha honors. During his first year of medical school, he conducted research at St. Jude Children’s Hospital in Memphis, TN where he studied pediatric sarcoma. He was also one of the few medical students selected to spend an academic year at the National Institutes of Health in Bethesda, MD and was part of the Medical Research Scholars Program where he studied rare diseases through the Undiagnosed Diseases Program.

After medical school, he moved to Utah to pursue surgical training at the University of Utah where he completed his six-year Integrated Plastic Surgery residency.

Volunteering and Personal Life

When not in the operating room or drawing award winning art, you can find Dr. Dino Maglić on the water fly fishing, carving his way down the mountainside skiing and spending time with his family and friends. With a blend of precision, creativity, and a deep appreciation for life’s simple pleasures, Dr. Dino Maglić exemplifies the artistry of both plastic surgery and the art of living fully.
